July 28, 1935 – July 29, 2023
Delores “Dee” Mae Frink passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 29, 2023. Born July 28, 1935, she was the daughter of Carl and Mollie Schillinger, who preceded her in death along with her brother, Norman. Delores passed away on her 67th wedding anniversary and joined her husband, Bert Frink in heaven.
While living in Glenwood Springs, Delores had an active working life running her own daycare and working as a secretary for various businesses and the Junior High School. After retiring she and her husband Bert moved to Battlement Mesa. She had a full social life and enjoyed visiting with friends and playing bridge and other card games. The last seven months of her life were spent at Roaring Fork Senior Living where she was able to continue social activities with the friends she made there.
She loved the outdoors and tending to her roses in her garden. Dee enjoyed hosting family and friends at her house for homemade dinners, storytelling and many holidays where Lori and her children would always attend.
Delores enjoyed the outdoors and traveling with her husband. They went to Alaska several times to see her son Ed and his children. Delores and Bert also spent several winters in Aransas Pass, Texas living in a senior community. They became friends with other snowbirds and enjoyed their time there.
Delores was well loved as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Delores is survived by her son, Ed Frink (Linda Frink) and his children Jennifer Weber (A J Weber), Justin Frink. She is also survived by her daughter Lori Carrick and her children Colin Carrick (Jessica Carrick), Courtney Stryker (Preston Stryker). Delores had three great grandchildren.
