
Thomas D. Wilkey "Indian Tom" passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017, at his home in Morley.
He was born to Berniece Nichols in 1944 in Alameda, California. Tom was a carpenter and spent most of his life in the Rifle, Colorado, area.
He is survived by Linda Jackson, his special friend of 17 years; mother Berniece at the Anamosa Care Center; son, Mike (treva) Wilkey of Lakewood, Colorado.; great-niece Haley of Grand Junction, Colorado; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Ann, and niece, Kara.
Tom served on the Morley town council for five years. He was also a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe.
A celebration of life will be held from 3-6pm on May 7 at his home in Morley.
