Rowena Faye Genrich, age 76, passed away peacefully at home July 21, 2016, in Rifle, Colorado.
She was born August 24, 1939, to Ira and Nadine (Agee) Shirley in Bogard, Missouri.
Faye was preceded in death by both her parents, one sister and three brothers.
Faye is survived by her two daughters, Lori Lynne Reems and Karen Kaye Genrich; three grandchildren, Randy Reems, Morgan (Dominguez) Valdez and Eaton Royal Ward; one great-grandson, Joseph Troy Valdez; five sisters, Phyllis, Juanita, Charldine, Barbara and Patricia, one sister-in-law and their spouses; and many nieces and nephews.
Faye worked at Wal-Mart in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, for many years after her children were grown, and she enjoyed working with the public and all the folks she worked with daily. She looked forward to work each day.
Her kind heart and devotion to her family and friends will be missed.
No services will be held. A small family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
