Aaron J. Pohousky, 40, of Hawk Point, MO, formerly of Marble, Colorado, passed away on July 20, 2016. He was born on January 30, 1976 , the son of Samuel “Skip” and Suzanne (Wheeler) Pohousky in Englewood, CO.
Aaron graduated in 1994 from Roaring Fork High School in Carbondale, moved to Missouri and there began a long career in construction. He truly enjoyed his work and always gave it his all. When he wasn’t working, he could be found skiing, fishing or doing something outdoors. He truly loved the mountains of Colorado.
Aaron had a 1972 Monte Carlo that was his grandfather’s, and it was his treasured possession. Animals and children were always drawn to Aaron and his kind disposition. Aaron’s favorite time of year was Independence Day, and he loved fireworks. He will be remembered lovingly by all those who knew him.
Aaron is survived by his parents, Skip and Suzanne Pohousky of Marble, his sister Larisa, her husband Eric and their children, Tanner and Belle, of Indianola, NE, his grandmothers, Rose Pohousky of St. Charles, MO, and Florence Wheeler of Sioux Falls, SD, special Uncle and Aunt, Cliff and Marg Wheeler of Troy, MO, as well an many other relatives and friends.
