Glenwood Springs resident Janie R Daniels passed away on October 23rd , 2022 at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. She was 68 years old.
Graveside services will be held August 1st, 2023 at Rosebud Cemetery in Glenwood Springs at 10am.
Janie was born July 9th , 1954, to Lee R. and Mable (Tasso) Johns in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. She spent her childhood and attended school in Glenwood Springs.
Janie worked as a overnight stocker for City Market for over 20 years before finding her perfect job of working for the Glenwood Springs Police Department as the Parking Enforcement Officer. Talking with people around town, safely walking the children across Grand Avenue every morning before school and every afternoon after school.
Janie is survived by her children Ed Daniels Jr of Craig, Colorado and Elliott Daniels of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Grand Children Chance, Austin, Brook and Dani Daniels and sister Dona (Ted) Caughman of Hotchkiss, Colorado She is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews.
Janie is preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister Morris Johns and Judy Hoskins and infant son Christopher Daniels.
